FTS has the expertise to assist you with the design of custom irradiators. Our emphasis is on safety and reliability.
Collimators
We can manufacture ISO 4037 collimators for SSDL facilities and our digital control package is delivered with the necessary software to drive multiple source irradiators and multi-axis track systems. Each digital package includes a web accessed database to record each sample exposure for elapsed time and dose delivered.
Interlocks
Our self-contained irradiators incorporate electro-magnetic interlocks to prohibit access to the sample chamber during irradiation cycles. A minimum of four additional interlocks prevent accidental exposures. All interlocks enable fail-safe source control.
Source Transfers
On-site source transfers for a number of different irradiators are now standard. We are always expanding our capabilities to provide this service for other irradiators and calibrators.
